Job Description: Client Services Project Manager
Job Summary

We are seeking a person with exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work with our clients on software development projects.

The nature of our clients projects entail software developers in a distributed environment where groups or individual programmers are located around the world.

As a client services Project Manager, you will be responsible for establishing seamless collaboration and communications among the distributed development team. You will assist existing project managers, team leads and module leads in managing their projects, sharing knowledge, communicating and collaborating.

You will also contribute to the clients development teams by introducing methodologies where required. Assisting new and growing development teams in integrating productivity processes, light weight methodologies, setting goal metrics, performance metrics, team building mentoring and collaboration methods in the endeavor to create an integrated and shared knowledge environment.

You must be able to implement productivity and performance metrics where you can recurrently demonstrate your value to our clients.

Essential Requirements

1. Minimum (5) years proven Project Management experience
2. At least (10) years experience in software product or solutions development
3. Experience working in a distributed environment
4. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma in technology
5. Progressive knowledge in software development methodologies
6. Implementing Project Management processes for new and growing teams, not just experience in managing existing processes and structure
7. Excellent people relationship skills with the ability to manage customer expectations and resolve ambiguities and conflict
8. Superior interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to motivate, make decisions and solve problems creatively

Other Assets

1. Knowledge of collaboration tools, Intranets, MS Sharepoint, Lotus Workplace
2. Holding PMI or PMP certification
3. Previous software development experience and knowledge of current technologies
