Chairman & CEO, Goa - Canada
Mr. Penstock is a co-founder of Goa Strategies Corporation and brings 15 years of extensive business and technical experience in information technology, software development, product management and R&D in key industry domains such as telecom, transportation logistics, and e-commerce. The most recent seven years developing technology exclusively in India.
Mr. Penstock is the author of Goa’s "Offshore Productivity Model"tm, a next generation methodology and framework of Global Service Delivery Models (GSD). The model forms Goa’s extensive advisory capabilities supporting global service delivery and Goa’s unique "blended team"tm strategy of near-shore/offshore engagements.
Prior to founding Goa Strategies, Mr. Penstock was CTO of Global Sortweb.com (SWI-TSX) a content management system. During the same period from 1999 to 2003, Mr. Penstock was a technology advisor for Monetary Capital Corp. a venture capital company in Vancouver, BC.
From 1995 to 1999 Mr. Penstock was the President & CEO of Global Carrier Technologies Inc. an innovative developer of Internet based satellite vehicle tracking systems. In 1997, Global Carrier introduced a first-of-kind Internet-Vehicle-Tracking-System in partnership with Infosat/TMI/BCE, pioneering SMS (text messaging) services and GPS positioning by way of Canada’s MSAT satellite.
Mr. Penstock studied economics at UBC and is a graduate from BCIT in Computer Systems Technology and Management Decision Systems.
Sujit Jain
President & COO, Goa - India
Mr. Jain is a co-founder of Goa Strategies Corporation and is President and Chief Operating Officer of Goa’s International operations. Mr. Jain is a business visionary with proven skills in deploying operation strategies, managing technology infrastructure and leadership necessary to support critical initiatives.
Mr. Jain resides in Pune, India and exclusively manages our facilities and our current staff of 37 people. Mr. Jain is responsible for sourcing and attracting the highest degree of talent and quality skill sets and manages employee retention by providing a desirable new and modern workplace with state-of-art infrastructure, development tools, learning centers, research labs in a campus setting near the city center of Pune.
Mr. Jain is also the founder, principal and Chairman of Netsurf Communications (Pvt) Ltd, a software development company which is an innovative and fast growing organization specializing in Web Solutions, Multimedia Presentation, IT enabled services and Application Software Development. Sujit's vision and leadership as the company's Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) is the foundation for the success and growth of Netsurf to an enterprise with annual revenues of 2.5 million USD in just three years since the founding of the company in 1999. Netsurf founded a network-marketing channel "Infiniteopps.com" which has reached unparalleled six-digit growth crossing 100,000 customers and distributors in 16 months.
Mr. Jain has an MBA (Marketing & Finance) from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune, Maharashtra, India. A Bachelor of Social Law, Symbiosis Law College, Pune, Maharashtra India, and participated in an internship program in London England.
Carlo Rossetti
Sales and Marketing
Mr. Carlo Rossetti joined Goa Strategies in September of 2006 with over seventeen years of experience in enterprise software markets, most recently in digital video and telecommunications. Mr. Rossetti is responsible for sales of Goa Strategies and the > expansion of Goa Strategies partnership and customer opportunities.
Prior to joining to Goa Strategies, Mr. Rossetti has worked in the SMS field for the past two years involved in marketing a software tool to send SMS worldwide. Mr. Carlo Rossetti has held numerous positions in the collaboration software and streaming video industries, including sales and marketing, systems integration, product development and senior management. Mr. Rossetti’s extensive history in managing start-up companies and raising initial funding, will serve Goa Strategies well as Manager of Sales and Marketing.
Fluent in three languages, Mr. Carlo Rossetti holds a diploma from the Sales and Marketing Executives program offered by the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia.
Dhana Lakshmi Sriram
Chief Finance Officer
Ms. Sriram is Chief Finance Officer of Goa Strategies Corporation. She has a Masters degree in Commerce from Pune University, Pune, India and holds an MBA in Finance. Ms. Sriram has 13 years of experience in varied fields of Finance including Accounting, Taxation, Company Law and Labour Laws.
Sanjay Malpani
Chairman of Advisory Board
Mr. Malpani is a co-founder of Goa Strategies Corporation and is a member of Goa’s advisory board of directors. Mr. Malpani directs the corporate financial planning and corporate structure.
Mr. Malpani is also the founding director of Netsurf Communications (P) Ltd. He began his Business Career with distribution of Vasavadatta Cement in 1986, which today is the largest selling cement in Pune.
He is the Director in Sanjay Knit Pvt. Ltd. & Acumen Advertising Pvt. Ltd. which provides advertisement engagements with companies such as the Pune Municipal Transport, Solapur Municipal Transport, Pune Railway Station, Pune - Mumbai Expressway and Pune Airport as well as with all leading Newspapers circulated throughout India.
Mr. Malpani is a Chartered Accountant (All India Rank).
